ECOLOGY ACTION ANNOUNCES JOEL KAUFFMAN AS VP OF MARKETING & CUSTOMER ENGAGEMENT

Proven Energy Efficiency Leader Tapped to Expand Growth of Award-winning Programs.

Ecology Action, a leading provider of innovative marketing and engagement programs that overcome barriers to reducing energy use and achieving environmental sustainability, announced today the selection of Joel Kauffman as Vice President of Marketing and Customer Engagement. 

Mr. Kauffman brings to Ecology Action a highly successful background as a marketing and business development executive with experience launching and managing a national renewable energy brand, driving aggressive revenue growth and developing innovative marketing, education and outreach programs.

Mr. Kauffman comes to Ecology Action with nearly a decade of executive marketing and sales experience in the solar industry, previously serving as vice president of marketing and business development at Real Goods Solar. Prior to that, Mr. Kauffman served as vice president and co-founder of Independent Energy Systems. He also served on the Leadership Committee of the U.S. Green Building Council for the Monterey Bay and is an active advocate for energy efficiency and solar power. Mr. Kauffman currently serves on the board of directors at the Solar Living Institute.
