Shannon Collins Memorial Will be Held Saturday

The woman who was brutally murdered on Broadway on May 7 will be celebrated in San Lorenzo Park Saturday.

Shannon Collins, whose daylight murder has changed the way many Santa Cruzans think about our town, will be celebrated Saturday in a 2 p.m. memorial at the San Lorenzo Park Duck Pond.

Details and maps are at a site called Remembering Shannon that is devoted to the 39-year-old businesswoman who owned the store Camouflage on Pacific Avenue with her husband, Ken Vinson.
