Saturday episodes of "Mideast Migraines" on Free Radio Santa Cruz are dedicated to the reading of vital contemporary works of literature.  Two weeks ago I began former Congressman Paul Findley's 1985 book "They Dare to Speak Out, People and Institutions Confront Israel's Lobby" -- clearly not a new publication, but one which I consider of ongoing interest, and worthy of comparing its findings with today's reality of insider politics in Washington, D.C. and the Jewish state's ongoing influence in U.S. legislative and budgetary actions, as well as on cultural and emotional considerations of our two countries' relations.

Mideast Migraines cranks up at 11:00 AM every Saturday, now on chapter two.

FRSC broadcasts at 101.3 FM, reception mostly confined to the city limits of Santa Cruz; also on our online radio streaming service at www.freakradio.org.  To receive the streaming link, click on the RED OVAL atop the image of the transmitter on the website's main page.

Additional instructions to receive the streaming service:
Use this hyperlink if you use dsl line:  http://audio.str3am.com:5110

If you use a modem, also known as dial-up, use this hyperlink:  http://audio.str3am.com:5100

You need to put one of these hyperlinks or URLs in your application program that you use for stream reception, i.e. WinAmp, Windows Media Player, ITunes, etc. under something like "Open URL" or "Play URL."  (If you put the above URLs in a webpage, then click on "Listen" on the Shoutcast page.)

Phone calls will be taken on the Saturday show only during a limited intermission at the top of the second hour (the other weekly time slot of Mideast Migraines on Monday 3:00 PM is open to take your calls throughout the show) -- listen to my program for the phone numbers.

All episodes of Mideast Migraines are available in my archives at radio4all.net
