Harmonica Blowout: This May Be the Best Blues Show of the Year

Mark Hummel has been touring with a legion of great harmonica players yearly...but this year's model also features some incredible guitar.

The Harmonica Blowout tonight at Moe's Alley is a tribute to Jimmy Reed featuring some of the top names in the blues, including Kim Wilson, from the Fabulous Thunderbirds; Lazy Lester, the 79-year-old master of fun harmonica; guitarist Joe Louis Walker, who headlines big theaters on his own; Rick Estrin and Charly Baty, of Little Charlie and the Nightcats; San Jose whiz Aki Kumar and guitarist extraordinaire, Ron Thompson.

Oh yeah, and Mark Hummel, who has been touring since 1984.

Every one of these artists can headline their own show, but they are all together for $33 tonight.

It may be hard to think about going out after all the holiday festivities, but this show is one NOT to miss.
