Alleged Burglar Nabbed in Santa Cruz County; Deputies Now Seeking His 2 Buddies

Santa Cruz County deputies this week arrested a man they suspect of numerous thefts and burglaries in the Aptos area over the past two months, and are now looking for an additional two men, whom they believe are possible associates.

Michael Hague was arrested Tuesday at 7 p.m. on the 300 block of Siesta Drive, Aptos, where deputies seized numerous items allegedly linking him to burglaries and other crimes in Monterey County, said the Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Office.

Hague is suspected of using credit cards stolen in his burglaries and thefts and making fraudulent purchases on the victims' accounts, police said.

Santa Cruz deputies are now looking for his two possible associates in the crimes -- Dino Moschetti, 28, and Allan Smith, 36.

Anyone who knows of their whereabouts, or has information relating to the cases, is encouraged to call law enforcement at (831) 454-1211.
