A man killed when a car went off of southbound state Highway 17 and rolled down a hill near Los Gatos Tuesday afternoon has been identified by the Santa Clara County medical examiner's office as 25-year-old Kevin Rocha.
Rocha, of Capitola, was driving on southbound Highway 17, near Alma College Road, south of Los Gatos, when he went off the roadway for unknown reasons and tumbled about 100 feet down a hillside at about 5:10 p.m., the California Highway Patrol said.

The CHP said that Rocha's was the only car involved in the crash.
Rocha was pronounced dead at the scene.

The lanes were closed for several hours while the CHP investigated
the crash.
