Jeep Crash Injures Two on Highway 1

One person is flown out, one other sent to Dominican Hospital.

An accident just north of Soquel on southbound Highway 1 occurred Saturday evening at around 5:30 p.m. that left one lane closed for an hour.

According to the CHP, one person was flown out by medical helicopter due to a major laceration to the head and another person was transported to Dominican Hospital for complaints of pain.

The cars involved in Sunday’s car wreck were a 2004 Jeep Cherokee and a green Ford pickup truck. The cause of the crash was unknown to dispatchers.
