CHP Looking for Two Suspects Considered Threats to Public Safety

One of the men was spotted with one of the female jail escapees, but escaped by running away.

California Highway Patrol Officers are looking for two 28-year-old men considered to be threats to public safety.

Justin Gorman, whose criminal history includes stealing an on-duty emergency vehicle, narcotic sales and burglary, escaped from Santa Cruz Police on Feb. 10, by jumping out a second-floor hotel room at the Ocean Gate Motel, after struggling with an officer. He had a knife.

Nicholas Beus is on parole for first-degree burglary, car theft and possession of a controlled substance. Police said he is a member of a white power gang and is addicted to methamphetamines. He was seen Feb. 17 walking on Capitola Road Extension with jail escapee Brittney Marko, but he ran away before police could catch him.
