Court-Appointed Advocate Arrested for Child Molestation

Santa Cruz Sheriff's officers arrested a youth counselor for allegedly molesting children whom he served at the CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) program.

Brian Criswell was arrested on Oct. 4, according to deputies, and after further investigation, was believed to have molested a victim from 2009 until 2011. Deputies are looking for other possible victims.

Criswell is a youth counselor, a youth advocate and a sports coach.
