Four Arrested with Meth Downtown
Needles, meth and heroin were found after someone reported suspicious activity in a car parked downtown.
Four people were arrested Saturday at 5:45 p.m. on the 500 block of Center Street, after someone reported suspicious activity in a car parked there.
Santa Cruz Police reported that when an officer approached the car, he saw a man in the front passenger seat holding a bag with needles and white powder.
The four men were detained and the car was searched. Police say they found needles, meth and heroin.

Arrested were:
Armani Carvajal, 22, of Ben Lomond, for a probation violation, possession of a controlled substance and possession of paraphernalia.
Julia Baba, 20, of Santa Cruz, for possession of unlawful paraphernalia, probation violation and loitering with intent to commit a narcotics offense.
Larry Steele, 24, of Live Oak, for possession of unlawful paraphernalia, being under the influence of a controlled substance and loitering with intent to commit a narcotics offense.
Dane Iracleous, 23, of Capitola, for possession of unlawful paraphernalia, being under the influence of a controlled substance and loitering with intent to commit a narcotics offense.
