Homicide Suspect May be Heading to UC Santa Cruz

Suspect left Paso Robles Monday afternoon driving a black Ford Ranger.

A 55-year-old man was stabbed to death in a Paso Robles motel Monday afternoon, KION 46/Fox 35 Central Coast News reported, and the man who may have killed him may be heading to UC Santa Cruz.

The possible suspect is described as approximately 40 years old, dark-haired, 5-foot-6 and Hispanic.  

He was driving a black Ford Ranger extended cab and may be accompanied by two women and a man, all white. One of his passengers may be heading back to UCSC to start school.

UCSC police Chief Nader Owens told Central Coast News, "We still have our officers out on the campus and in the surrounding area. We're working with Paso Robles and all the other law enforcement in the county to attempt to locate this vehicle."
