Kid With Pellet Gun Leads to Lockdown at Santa Cruz School

Shoreline Middle School in Santa Cruz was reportedly under lockdown for an hour or so Friday afternoon following a student with a pellet gun, according to an article in The Santa Cruz Sentinel.

The lockdown went into place about 1:45 p.m., after a student reported seeing the weapon, and was lifted about 2:30 p.m., the news report said.

Shoreline Middle is part of the Live Oak School District.
