Santa Cruz Sheriff's deputies are asking for help finding William Laughlin, 71, who walked away from the Helping Hands nursing center at 2990 Soquel Ave. and may be disoriented.
Laughlin left at noon Wednesday and was expected to return by 10 p.m. He didn't. He has been known to frequent the Coral Street Shelter in Santa Cruz and the city of Watsonville.
He's 6 feet tall, 180 pounds and has blonde, curly shoulder length hair.
