Santa Cruz Police arrested a 31-year-old Santa Cruz man after female runners reported he was stalking them at Santa Cruz High School Monday and at Pacific Collegiate School Tuesday.

Joshua Paul James, 31, was stopped by police at Front and Laurel streets after they spotted the car described by the students.

A search produced pornographic images as well as images of female athletes 13-15 that he was using for sexual gratification, police said.

James was booked into Santa Cruz County Jail, where he is being held on $250,000 bail.
