Man Missing From Area Care Center

Santa Cruz deputies are searching for the individual, who went missing Saturday from a mental-health facility on El Dorado Avenue.

The Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Office is searching for a homeless man reported missing on Saturday from a care center in Santa Cruz, a sheriff's spokesman said today.

Frank Stuefloten was reported missing from the El Dorado Center, a mental illness treatment facility at 941 El Dorado Ave., by the center's staff at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, sheriff's spokesman Deputy Ryan Kennedy said.

Stuefloten is known to frequent the area of 41st Avenue in Santa Cruz, according to Kennedy.

Anyone with information about Stuefloten's whereabouts is urged to call a dispatcher at the sheriff's office at (831) 471-1121.
