Needle Found by Children at First Day of Junior Guards

Used drug needles found around town have been one of the hottest issues in Santa Cruz and Wednesday's discovery at the first day of the local tradition known as Junior Lifeguard training is sure to fuel the fire.

Needles have most often been found at Cowell's Beach. This one was found at Blacks Beach at the end of 14th Avenue.
