Police Offer Rewards for Information in Three Violent Cases

Police Chief Kevin Vogel said he hopes the money may help people with key information to come forward.

Santa Cruz Police are offering rewards for information in three cases that have shaken the community.

There is a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of suspects in the murder of martial arts teacher

There is also $5,000 for information in the robbery and shooting of a 21-year-old UCSC student on Feb. 11. The woman was shot in the head with a .9 milimeter bullet, but survived when it didn't go into her skull.

There is a $2,500 reward for information in the robbery of the Food Bin market on Feb. 13.
