Police Seek Two for Questioning in Stabbing Case

Santa Cruz Police are looking for Mitra Osho Orescan, 22, and Lauren Michelle Lotz, 22, in connection with Monday's case of a stabbing victim being dropped off at Dominican Hospital.

Detectives are still looking for the blue Dodge Quad Cab truck that dropped him off and are seeing the two 22-year-olds as "persons of interest."

Orescan has a warrant for his arrest for narcotics and traffic crimes. He was arrested Sept. 9 for child endangerment, in which he was found in a hotel room with a baby and drugs.

Detectives believe the motive for the stabbing was a fight over a drug deal.

On Monday a firefighter witnessed people loading an injured man into a car at San Lorenzo Boulevard and Riverside Avenue and soon after, Dominican Hospital reported a stabbing victim was dropped off there.
