Santa Cruz Police Arrest Five in Drug Raid

While conducting a probation search police found found cooking spoons for meth, multiple bottles of narcotic pills, marijuana and over 100 used hypodermic needles in a home at Brookside Ave.

In response to a hotline tip from neighbors, the Santa Cruz Street Crimes Unit Thursday conducted a probation search in a home on the 200 block of Brookside Ave. and found piles of drug evidence.

Officers found cooking spoons for meth, multiple bottles of narcotic pills, marijuana and over 100 used hypodermic needles.

Five people were in the home and were arrested, including a father and son.

They are: Curtis Allison Sr., 51 of Santa Cruz, suspicion of possession of controlled substance paraphernalia; Curtis Allison, Jr., 29, of Santa Cruz, possession of controlled substance paraphernalia and being under the influence of a controlled substance; Malea Smith, 37, of Santa Cruz for paraphernalia, possessing a controlled prescription drug and being under the influence; Kristina Clamp, 25, of Scotts Valley for possession of marijuana; and Erin Norton, 38, for prescription forgery and probation violation.
