Santa Cruz Firemen Use Jaws of Life to Rescue Crash Victim at Ocean and Water

The 1 a.m. crash trapped a driver to start Saturday.

It took Santa Cruz Fire officers 30 minutes to extricate the driver of this crash Saturday morning at the intersection of Water and Ocean streets at 1 a.m., using the jaws of life. They had to cut the roof and pull the dash board off of him.

He was taken to a trauma center with moderate injuries.

The driver's name wasn't released yet.
