Santa Cruz Man Busted With Child Porn in Storage Locker
Steven Jerome Hibbett was arrested this week for the third time for posessing sexual images of children.
A 58-year-old Santa Cruz man was arrested this week for having child pornography on a laptop computer he kept in a Live Oak storage facility.
Santa Cruz Police got a report from the Center for Missing and Exploited Children that someone in the city had uploaded child pornography to the Internet in June.
Investigators said they recognized the Internet address as belonging to Seven Jerome Hibbett who had been arrested for the same thing in 2008 and 2009. They did a probation search on his storage locker and found a laptop with images of children as young as 8. They also found records of him searching for sexual images of children between 8 and 11.

They say he also posed as a child on social media sites.
They said there was no evidence of him taking pictures or being involved with local children.

He was booked into Santa Cruz County Jail.
