Santa Cruz Man Stabbed Through Car Window in Gang Attack

The 26-year-old man was stabbed as he was backing out of his driveway by a man who made gang statements.

A 26-year-old Santa Cruz man was stabbed through his driver's window as he was backing out of a driveway on the 100 block of Bixby Street at 10:15 p.m. Sunday.

The suspect reportedly made a gang statement stabbed the victim several times in the hand and chest and fled. He is described as 17-25 years old, Latino, 5 feet 6 inches tall with a medium build, wearing black pants, a black shirt, black hat and white shoes.

The victim was taken to a hospital out of the area. He told police he didn't know the suspect.
