Santa Cruz Police Release Sketch of Shooter
Victim in the June 12 shooting out of hospital and talking.
Santa Cruz Police are asking the public's help in finding the suspect in the 2:45 a.m. of Jared Floodman, 28.
Floodman was shot on the 200 block of California Avenue.
A suspect was seen running away on Walk Circle. No helicopter was available to take Floodman to a trauma center, so he was treated at Domincan Hospital.

The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic, 26-28 years old, 5-feet 11 inches to 6 feet tall, 175 pounds with brown eyes, a medium complexion, wearing a dark baseball cap with white embroidery.
