Stolen Tools, Hypodermic Needles and Psilocybin Mushrooms Lead to Arrests
Beach Boardwalk security officers called Santa Cruz Police after witnessing an alleged theft of tools.
Three people were arrested near the Boardwalk Friday afternoon at 3:12 after security officers there witnessed them stealing tools.
The trio were also found to have needles, mushrooms, previous records and outstanding warrants.
Priscilla Mendez, 25, was arrested on suspicion of grand theft, possession of stolen property and warrants for child endangerment, theft and possession of drugs.

Taylor Perez, 20, was arrested for allegedly stealing tools and possession of drugs and paraphernalia.
Christopher Hernandez, 19, was arrested for possession of Psilocybin mushrooms and syringes.
