Suspect Breaks Into 2-Year-Old Girl's Bedroom

Santa Cruz sheriff's deputies are looking for a suspect who broke into a Felton home Wednesday and went into a bedroom where a 2-year-old girl was resting in a crib, according to the sheriff's office.

The incident was reported at about 9:15 p.m. in a home on Redwood Drive.

The girl alerted her mother to the suspect, who immediately ran.

Nothing was taken from the home and the girl was unharmed, according to the sheriff's office. No description of the suspect was provided by the sheriff's office.

Deputies are asking anyone who witnesses anything suspicious to contact the sheriff's office at (831) 471-1121.
