Three Arrested for Narcotics in Drug-Friendly Home

The North Branciforte home has seen over 10 arrests for drug activity since 2009.

A probation search of a Santa Cruz residence resulted in three arrests for being under the influence of narcotics Friday evening. The arrests were made at 8:53 p.m. on the 1200 block of North Branciforte, at a home that has seen over 10 drug-related arrests since 2009, according to the Santa Cruz Police Department media release.

The Santa Cruz Street Crimes Unit and Patrol Officers arrested homeowner Valerie Huemer, 42, and renters, Camielle Johnson, 21, and Lance Clifford,40, for being under the influence of narcotics. 

Johnson and Clifford were additionally charged with violating their probation terms, and for obstructing and delaying the officers' investigation.

The Santa Cruz Police Department has been investigating reports of drug activities at the house for several years now, and the SCPD asks that anyone with additional information about this investigation contact the Anonymous Tip line at 831-420-5777 extension 4840.
