Deanna Brooks, 70, was supposed to arrive in San Diego last Saturday from her Santa Cruz home, but never arrived at a birthday celebration at her niece's house.
Now friends are gathering at Attilia's Antiques at 2630 Soquel Dr. Saturday evening to spark hope and interest in the search for the missing woman along the California coast.
She drives a 2003 gold 4-door PT Cruiser that has damage on both sides.
She was last seen last Thursday night by her son.
