Watsonville Police Looking For 2 Teen Stabbers

Police are looking for two teenage boys who stabbed another boy in Watsonville on Tuesday night.

Officers responded to a report of a stabbing victim who walked into Watsonville Community Hospital at about 10:45 p.m., Sgt. David Rodriguez said.

Officers arrived to find out the teenage victim suffered a stab wound to his chest that was not considered to be life threatening, Rodriguez said.

The victim was in stable condition as of this morning, he said. Officers learned the victim had been riding his bike in the area of the 100 block of Jefferson Street where he was confronted by two other teens, Rodriguez said.

One of the teens asked where he was from then assaulted the victim, according to Rodriguez. The suspects then fled Jefferson Street and remain at large, he said.

The suspects are described as two Hispanic boys between 16 and 18 years old, Rodriguez said.
