Wells Fargo Bank Robbed Friday Afternoon

Santa Cruz Sheriff's Office released photos of the suspect

Santa Cruz Sheriff's deputies are looking for a man who robbed the Wells Fargo Bank at the corner of Thurber Lane and Soquel Drive at 3 p.m. Friday.

The man made off with an undisclosed amount of cash and showed no weapon, but demanded money, according to Sgt. Patrick Dimick.

The suspect is described as a white male, mid to late 20s, tan skin, in a light blue striped shirt, a light colored cap, gloves, tan shorts, white shoes and sunglasses.

He ran away toward Dominican Hospital and no vehicle was seen. The neighborhood was cordoned off while police looked for the suspect.
