I was born and raised in Santa Cruz and have lived in Santa Cruz County for my entire life.
Four generations of my family have lived here. I care deeply and passionately about the City of Santa Cruz and am concerned about its economic health, along with the public safety of all its citizens.
I have been a community leader for my entire adult life and am committed to providing leadership on the Santa Cruz City Council for the next four years.
As the first lesbian elected to the Santa Cruz City School Board in 2002 I look back with pride in my ability to engage various ideas and interest groups, and was able to forge consensus among stakeholders.
I am now poised to develop innovative and challenging projects and will make sure the tax payer’s monies are spent judiciously. As a member of the Santa Cruz City Council I will focus on: Sustainable economic development in the community Public safety for residents, especially women and children.
I want to help develop “Edu-Tourism” in the City of Santa Cruz My commitment to Santa Cruz is unquestioned. I love this city and I'm committed to improving our community’s quality of life.
