I have been an active community organizer and non profit grant writer for a number of years. In addition to spearheading the effort to open Harvey West Pool, I am the co-founder of the Friends of Thanksgiving and one of the founding members, along with Council Member Tony Madrigal, of the Festival del Nopal Coordinating Committee.
