Do you have a guess of how much Rep. Sam Farr had to raise to win his seat in the House of Representatives?

Rep. Sam Farr won reelection to the U.S. House of Representatives last fall, now representing the Central Coast for his eleventh term.

But how much did his House seat cost him?

Farr raised $735,679 during the 2012 election cycle, according to MapLight, a non-profit that tracks money in politics.

That's well behind the curve: the average House member raised $1,689,580, or $2,315 a day, according to MapLight.
