Arguably one of the most important contemporary authors of our time, Leslie Marmon Silko (author of the best-selling novel Ceremony) will be coming to Bookshop to discuss her new title, The Turquoise Ledge. Strongly influenced by Native American storytelling traditions, The Turquoise Ledge becomes a moving and deeply personal contemplation of the enormous spiritual power of the natural world-of what these creatures and landscapes can communicate to us, and how they, and we, are all connected.
Ms. Silko will be reading from her new memoir, signing books and participating in an extensive Q&A with the community.
