Learn the basic processes for making beer at home from our local expert Mark Taylor. Students will get the experience of brewing five gallons of beer using basic brewing equipment and tools found around the home. Students will learn the fundamentals of brewing math and science working with dry malt extract as the source of fermentable sugars. Students will get hands-on experience to learn the skills and become familiar with the necessary equipment, tools, materials and ingredients to easily brew beer at home. This class is recommended for students that have little or no previous brewing experience.

Students will go home with a few bottles of the beer they’ve made in class to sample at home. Please bring 10.00 to cover materials fee to class
