The Cardinals are currently 6-1 overall and 3-0 in league play. A monster meeting with Aptos falls on the calendar on Nov. 11, but the game won't have as much meaning if the host Cardinals can't get past Scotts Valley on Friday.
Scotts Valley has won back-to-back league games since dropping a road game by two touchdowns to Aptos on Oct. 8.
