While arenas across the country are playing recorded music by Chris Rene during games, in Santa Cruz, the star himself did a surprise live performance during half time at the Warriors game against the Los Angeles D-Fenders.
The team also laid out some pizza theatrics, a dance-off and musical chairs for adults.
The Santa Cruz Warriors are back for a long home stand that lasts until March 12, facing such teams as the Maine Red Claws, the Reno Bighorns and the Rio Grande Valley Vipers.
They sold out Wednesday's game, keeping a sweep of selling every seat at every home game.
