Travis Leslie Named Player of the Month
Santa Cruz Warriors guard named D-League player of the month and will also compete in dunk contest.
Santa Cruz Warriors standout guard Travis Leslie was named the D-League player of the month for the first month of the season.
The 6'4" guard was a big part in the Warriors going 9-2 with his play through the months of November and December. Not only has he been a monster at scoring the ball averaging 16.4 points per game, but he's also been efficient shooting 55.5 percent from the field. He's also been the teams leading rebounder bringing in 7.9 boards per game.
Leslie's been consistent all year long scoring in double figures in every game this season. His best game statistically came against the Bakersfield Jam where he score 21 points and grabbed 14 rebounds.

Leslie will be competing in the NBA D-League Showcase slam dunk contest, and rightfully so as he's been demolishing rims all season long.
If all goes well for Leslie, and he plays like he has during the showcase, he could see himself making the jump to the NBA.
