The Santa Cruz Warriors cut three more players from their training camp roster before their road trip to Texas where they will be playing in the D-League Preseason Jamboree.
Guard Darren Moore, and forwards T.J. Robinson and Steve Tchiengang were the three players cut on Friday October 16.
Darren Moore was selected in the sixth round with the 93rd pick overall in this years D-league draft. Moore was selected from University of California Irvine where averaged 17 points in his final year.
Robinson was selected in the third round with the 33rd pick in this years draft as well. While Spending four years at the University of Long Beach he averaged 13.1 points and 9.2 rebounds per game. Going into his senior year he was second in all time rebounds and eight in scoring.
Finally Tchiengang spent his four years at the University of Vanderbilt where his numbers were not great averaging just over three points and three boards a game. He was born in the country of Cameroon, but moved to the United States and was adopted by David and Kathy Ambrose in 2004.
Coach Bjorkgren now has 12 players left on roster and a tough decision on his hands, as he still has two more cuts to make before opening night on December 2nd when they meet the Reno Bighorns.
