Warriors Waves: Warriors Have First Defeat in Bakersfield

Warriors handed their first loss by the Bakersfield Jam.

The Bakersfield Jam handed the Santa Cruz Warriors their first loss of the season 102-95.

Throughtout the game the  Jam converted on sloppy play by the Warriors. Playing on the road, the Santa Cruz team gave up the ball 29 times and the Jam converted those tunrovers into 27 points.

The contest was tight throughout with 16 lead changes. Despite leading by as much as 10 points in the first half, and having a a slim lead with just under four minutes to play in the fourth they couldnt hold on as the Jam went on a 12-3 run to close them out. 

Travis Leslie recored his first double-double of the season with 21 points and 14 rebounds in the game. Taylor Griffin, Mickell Gladness and Stefhon Hannah where also in double figures with 12, 15 and 12 points respectively.

The Santa Cruz Warriors will be off until Friday December 7th where they'll travel down to Los Angeles and face off against the Defenders in a two game series.
