City of Santa Cruz Public Works Department - Wastewater Treatmen
The gated Wastewater Treatment Facility, run by the city's Public Works Department, is not generally accessible to the public. The sprawling center provides wastewater treatment for the city of Santa Cruz and the Santa Cruz County Sanitation District, which also includes the cities of Live Oak, Capitola, Soquel and Aptos. In addition, ocean outfall disposal services are provided for the city of Scotts Valley.
