Natural Bridges State Beach is one of the gems of Santa Cruz. Walk across the beach to to have a look at life under the ocean in the various tide pools. Explore the coastal meadows and discover native wildflowers. Moore Creek flows through the meadow areas and creates a sandy wetland on the beach. Or simply relax on the soft sand and listen to the surf. The Monarch Butterfly Nature Preserve located on the premises is home to more than 100,000 butterflies every winter as they migrate south. The monarchs can be found usually between mid-October and mid-February. The beach offers Wi-Fi access for a fee for those who are within 200 feet of the visitors' center in the park.
