Sandro Batata teaches Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, considered the gentle martial art, at his studio on Mission Street. Men, women and children are welcome to take classes, and private lessons are also available. The studio offers a free introductory class as well. Sandro is a third degree black belt and has won numerous awards, including third place in the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu World Championship.
