With 177 rooms, this is the largest hotel in Santa Cruz. During the academic year two-thirds of the rooms are used as student housing by the University of California Santa Cruz, which leases this facility from Seagate. The first floor is reserved year-round for hotel guests and has the feel of a standard hotel, with leather sofas in the lobby and a staffed reception desk. For large meetings and events, there is 6,000 square feet of multi-use meeting space. It can cater banquets for up to 325 people.
