Velvet Underground

For over 16 years, Velvet Underground has been a locally-owned and operated downtown shop.  The selection of youthful and inexpensive clothing and apparel is inspired by a culture of music and art.  After all, the store is named after the '60s New York rock band the Velvet Underground. Clothing lines for women and girls (teen and junior sizes) are constantly being updated with cool and trendy styles.  And clothing isn't the only thing that keeps Velvet Underground trendy.  Items sold at the shop include jeans, dresses, shirts, handbags, jewelry, posters, retro collectible gifts, bath products and humorous fridge magnets.  Customers can also expect a prompt greeting upon entering, as well as friendly assistance.
