Aaron Jacobsen is freelance writer and Santa Cruz County native. He studied politics at UC Irvine before moving on to get a master's degree in kinesiology from San Jose State University. In addition to his writing, he works in health, fitness and education and currently coaches cross country at UC Santa Cruz.
