Andrea Ruse, Neighbor

Andrea Ruse is a freelance writer living in Southern California. She graduated from California State University Fullerton in 2005 and for the past four years has covered a variety of issues -- including city government, crime, schools, sports, music, arts, business and more -- for the <i>Easy Reader</i> newspaper in Hermosa Beach. She is currently the Manhattan Beach news editor of the paper and also writes for its sister publications, <i>Beach</i> and <i>Peninsula People </i>magazines. She is especially interested in education and health issues and is excited to dig into these topics in Santa Cruz.
